Hello Family,
Well, atlast the sun is shining once again and the rivers have finally crested from all the heavy
rains. Hope all survived the 10+ inches of rain we got drenched-in last weekend. Good ole N.E.,
you just never know what will happen next...
Befor you know it the Sox will be back in Fenway, the Celtics will be trying to win the championship again, the Bruins will be hoping they are in the playoffs, and Tiger will be playing in the Masters (hopefully ending his career in the other games he was "fooling around" with).
And for all you pretending to be Irish for a day (forgetaboutit), Happy St. Patrick's Day.
Here's wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and sunny springtime.
Love, Cousin Paul

Long time no write
Hi everyone,
Cannot believe it has been this long since I last logged on to check our family blog.
My excuse, though not a good one, was I got a new pc right before Xmas. The Rossi Blog website was saved as a "favorite" on my old pc and I never got around to setting it up on my new one...
Long story short. I should be sorted and have enjoyed reading everyone's previous posts.
We are doing well here in Melrose. Jack even got out in to the sandbox for 40mins today so hopefully that means Spring is not too far away. He was not too happy about coming back in to the house for lunch/nap time.
We were on a cruise in January for my birthday and had a fantastic time. Weather was good adn we had a blast. We went with 4 other families for a total of 10 adults and 8 kids. Lots of laughs. We have been back about 5 weeks now and just waiting out the winter...so far so good.
Paul got a promotion at the first of the year so he has been crazy busy with work. It was good we had already booked our cruise as we wouldn't have been able to take it otherwise. He has been putting in long hours since we returned.
Paul also found out that his book has sold 1,400 copies worldwide so far-I am very proud of him and his accomplishment!
On that note, I must bid you adieu as Jack is starting to stir from his slumber.
We are off to FL the end of March to spend some fun in the sun with my parents adn spend Easter with them as well. We are looking forward to it. My mom and dad, Donald and Lorraine, are doing well in FL though it hasn't been the warmest of winters down there. After some health problems at the end of 2009 they both seem to be in good health and enjoying the lack of snow down South.
I hope everyone is well and look forward to reading yoru posts.
All the best.
Love,
Susan

What Weather?
It looks like the East coast is getting pounded with snow. How are things up in Boston? Are you suffering with snow-mageddon or snow-poculoups?
Here we had a little snow, maybe 2 inches. The funny thing is that the weather person didn't know it was coming. This morning he explained that it was a warm front, not a cool front and "they are a little trickier to see". That's why they get the big money. I wish I had a job where I could be wrong all the time abou the future but that didn't matter because I look so good telling everyone what did happen.

Thanks Paul
I meant for this to be a posting rather than a comment so all could read it.
Hi Paul and Ya'll,Glad to hear you have electricity. I posted the daily Hawaii logs after I got back from our vacation so no one would use my house for a fraternity initiation rite or a festival locale.
Have fun in Florida, the home of the eternal left turn signal.

Hello Family,
This is going out to Alex in SLC: did you hear the power just come back on? I guess we're
just deprived of sun and warmth back here in N.E., I havn't got my "need it bad" fix yet down
south, but we're leaving next week to get some sun & fun in hopefully warmer Florida.
It really hasn't been a bad winter here in N.E., but there's still February to deal with and the
cold is coming back this weekend. We were in Stowe, Vt. last week and I was surprised how little
snow they have had thus far, but there was enough to snowshoe and I got a good workout on my
new hip and the new parts seem to work just fine.
It sounds like you had a great trip to Hawaii, but yes, it is always good to get back home. I was a
bit confused with the dates and times of your other blogs, but now I understand (I think).
I too am hoping that more family members will respond to this blog, but then again, maybe they
havn't got their power back on yet...

No Electricity In the NE
There must be no electricity in the Northeast. I guess everyone is so overwhelmed with the weather that communicating is difficult. Maybe my subtle reference to the mild temps and unending sun and surf in Hawaii ruffled some feathers, sorry.
We are now back in SLC and firmly entrenched in the smog and cold. The good news is the ski resorts got 5 feet (yes 60 inches) of snow over the past week.
My tan is fading and I am slowly getting back into my PVSS (post vacation stress syndrome) routine. I have almost forgotten what it was like not to wear socks for several days in a row.
For those of you who are astute observers of both this blog and my "World According to Pedro" blog you have noted the incongruency with respect to the Hawaiian vacation. I say we are back yet the posts on WATP continue about Hawaii. How can this be?
Through the magic of electronic communication and some help from by brother Steve I learned how to write a post and set it to publish at a later date. That way I could live the vacation twice, once in real time and again when it posted. Pretty clever huh?
I hope you all can get your power back on and your hands unfrozen to let us know how things are in the right side of the country. Have fun.

How Is Everyone?

Hi All,
Haven't heard anything from this group since the New Year. How is everyone?
Marijke Maddy and I are getting back into our post Festivus routine. We are doing our annual vacation in a sunnier and warmer climate. We will be back in SLC tomorrow. All is well here; brown, warm and without socks. We can't wait to get back to winter.
Here is a picture of our view this morning. I hope your's is as good.
Alex
